'80s Hottie of the Week, Corey Hart

Looking like a combination of James Dean and Val Kilmer couldn't have been too detrimental to Canadian Corey Hart's attempts to get a record deal, but the pleasant surprise is that Hart is a fine singer and solid songwriter who may have been unfairly treated by being typecast as an '80s artist.

But that won't stop us from remembering him as a mildly brooding sort, not too threatening to alarm your parents if they insisted on meeting him before a date but intriguing all the same. I mean, those sunglasses can't help but make you wonder about what's going on behind them, and there's always something exciting about mystery, am I right?

Well, before I start to question my sexual orientation in earnest, let me draw this to a close, if it's not already too late.
