Having just experienced my own bit of turmoil at my rather unsatisfying day job, I've spent a bit of time lately thinking about work and just how much if affects our lives for better and worse. When it's for the worse, it's amazing how much quality of life depends upon the eight or more hours a day we spend earning a paycheck that's somehow never quite big enough.

So a Monday is as good a day as any to look at a list of the top '80s songs dealing with the topic of work.
