'80s Hottie of the Fortnight, Taylor Dayne

Having just moved into a new place and eager for ways to avoid unpacking, I've found myself watching VH1 Classic again. And what a pleasant surprise when the video for Taylor Dayne's "With Every Beat of My Heart" flashed onto my screen.

I have to be honest that Dayne wasn't even on my most conceptual of radars as I began planning an initial list for this regular feature, but there's no denying her hotness in this video and possibly in general. She's got a voluptuous, Angelina Jolie thing going on and proved a master of the luscious-lips gaze when Angelina was still busy staying after school.

I always knew Dayne was armed with a powerhouse, sultry voice, but I guess I somehow never realized that she was possessed with looks to match. It makes me wonder about all the opportunities I might have missed locked in my room, apparently devoid of the knowledge that this chick was pretty smokin'. For the sake of us all and before things go too far, let's leave it at that.
