Asia Reunion Tour in Full Swing: Wonder if Andy Stitzer Was Able to Get Tickets

Friday September 15, 2006
Now that Steve Carell's character from last year's well-received The 40-Year-Old Virgin has leaped into the dating scene with both feet, one would imagine he and his companion will be taking in an Asia reunion concert sometime this month. The '80s supergroup kicked off the U.S. leg of its long-awaited reunion tour back on August 29 in Rochester, New York, and according to the reformed band's official website, Wednesday's show in Philadelphia and tomorrow night's concert in Chicago are sellouts.

So, if you have an Asia logo prominently displayed anywhere in your house, or even if you simply harbor a nostalgic attachment to the group that allows "Don't Cry" to bring a tear to your eye, you still have a chance to catch the reunited quartet. And oh yeah, just in time for the holidays, Asia will delight its U.K. fans with five shows beginning November 28. With any luck, concertgoers may even get a chance to see Geoff Downes in action with his keytar.
