Evaluation of Duran Duran Reveals Glaring Gap in My Music Collection

I plan to keep this entry somewhat short, partly out of embarassment that my CD collection is currently sans Double Duran but mostly out of a sense of urgency to rectify that wretched condition, which I intend on doing in a matter of moments. In the meantime, however, I'll state what many folks out there surely already know, that this classic English pop band is not only one of the '80s finest musical treasures but one of the entire rock era's greatest talents. What most people may not realize is that the band actually enjoyed only a brief reign atop the pop music world that unfairly earned them somewhat of a tag as fleeting flavor of the decade. In reality, Duran Duran has enjoyed a fairly stable and consistent career that continues today, with almost all original members still deeply involved.
